Conference Overview

The Annual Conference on Deep Foundation Technologies for Infrastructure Development in India is planned as a virtual event this year also since the atmosphere is not yet conducive for a safe physical event. The great gala event of 10th anniversary celebration is put off, but we are sure to enthuse the delegates with power packed technical sessions during the virtual conference planned for November 12-20, 2021, with four weekend days featuring the technical sessions and the week days dedicated for exhibitors and sponsors.

The Conference will offer a wide forum of geotechnical professionals to present, discuss and debate many aspects of the latest technologies appropriate for the speedy execution of deep foundation for major infrastructure projects in India.

About the Conference

DFI India 10th Anniversary Conference will be held between 12th Nov’21 - 20th Nov’21 and learnings from this program will aid the participants to deploy good work practices to lessen the burden of time/cost overruns that has become a common feature in most of the projects.

The conference is divided into three parts:

  1. 12th & 13th Nov’21: Will mark the start of DFI-India 2021 conference. These two days will have Keynote Presentations, Panel discussion, Paper Presentations, and Sponsor Promotions, spanning 4.5 hours/day.
  2. 15th to 18th Nov’21: Exhibitors & Sponsors will have dedicated exhibition slots of 2 hours per day during these four days to display their products/services with the maximum possible visibility and marketing opportunity. Delegates can have the comfort of visiting the exhibition booths during any of these four days and communicate with the exhibitor directly through chat/video call.
  3. 19th & 20th Nov’21: Conference program will resume with more keynote presentations, paper presentations, student program, and sponsor promotions, packed in sessions of 4.5 hours each day. The conference will end on 20th Nov’21 with a valedictory session.

  • Improving Current Practice with Case Studies
  • Developments in Safe and Efficient Geo-Construction
  • Advances in Deep Foundations, Earth Retention Systems and Ground Improvement
  • Geotechnical Investigation, Testing, Quality Management and Numerical Methods

The participants will have a chance to know the further progress of DFII various initiatives, plans for future. DFII is endeavouring to implement exciting programs catering to students community, women professionals. Interesting updates about these efforts and other programs are planned specific to these groups.
